BIPLANE'S PERFORMANCE. . Sydney, Sept. 30. Biplane's time for the Derby has only been beaten by Noctuiform's record in 1895. The performance was all the' more remarkable owing to the fact (hat in the early stages Deeley had the greatest difficulty in holding Biplane, who fought for his head to such an ex» tent that his supporters feared lie would beat himself, but from the moment he went to the front the issue was never in doubt.
