The Court of Inquiry under the Coal Mines Act into charges against Blackball mine ( officials with regard to the recent double drowning cases in the Blackball mine on July 31, when Tipler and Abbott were found drowned in the resulted in the court finding that the charges were not sustained. The, assessors expressed the opinion that a better scheme of reporting in-spections-of the mine was desirable.
