DELAY IN MOBILISING. DUE TO LACK OF EQUIPMENT. THE ALLIES' PLAN. A. and N.Z. Cable Assoc. and Reuter, Received Sept. 30, 5.5 p.sn. Washington, Sept. 20. The Greek Foreign Office informed the Embassy that the delay in mobilisation of the Greek ariny was due to the luck of equipment, which England, France and United States must furnish. Greece supplies 300,000 men. It is understood that the Allies' plan is to advance on Sofia, cut off Germany's great supplies from Turkey, neutralise Bulgaria and force Turkey to form a separate peace. The Allies have already equalised the Balkan situation, and the Greek troops will give enough power to allow of an advance to overcome the enemy. An extensive offensive is probable in the late spring.
THE WAR MINISTRY, Received September 29, 5.5 p.ip. Athens, Sept. 28. M. Venizelos has given up the War Ministry, which has been offered' tp General Douglas.
