PUBLIC NOTICES. EGMONT COUNTY COUNCIL. In the matter of The Counties Act, 1908, and of The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and any amendment of the said Acta and each of them respectively: *pHE Egmont County Council hereby gives Public Notice that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of £13,000 for the purpose of re-erecting in reinforced concrete the whole of the

bridges and culverts (as the case may require) as enumerated in the schedule hereunder, th'iT said loan together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding five and one quarter per centum per annum is to be repayable in 36% years by half-yearly instalments in the manner provided by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and the security for the said loan shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, of seven fifty-ninths (7-59) of one penny in the £ on the capital value of all the rateable property within Egmont County. It is further proposed to pay out of the said loan the-cost of raising the loan, together with the first year's interest thereon, and any preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the purpose for which the said loan is raised.
