PERSONAL.
■ Mr, M. \C. Isaac, inspector of technical schools, arrived in New Plymout'i last night. At the meeting of the Taranaki Education Board held yesterday the resignation of Mr. >H.' C. Sergei as assistant agricultural instructor was accepted with regret as from October 31 next, the chairman and members generally expressing very high appreciation of Mr. Sergei's very valuable services to the board as agricultural instructor during the past three years.
