PATRIOTIC WORK.
Friends who are donating flowers, sweets, and fancy goods for the New Plymouth street stalls on Saturday are requested to leave them at Jones' stables on Fridfty afternoon and evening. But-ton-hole material and asparagus fern- is wanted in any quantity, also flowers, seedlings, and pot plants. One hundred lettuce plants have been promised; these will be sold in bundles.
