A French communique says: Our fire nullified an attempted attack south of Juvineourt and east of Craonne. The artillery duel continued on the Beau-tnont-Bezonvaux front, on the right bank >of the Meuse. The enemy was unable ■to attack. ,
GERMAN ATTACK: REPULSED. LIVELY ARTITLERYLNG. Received 'Sept. 20, 10 p.m. London, Sept. 20. Sir Douglas Haig reports: There is reciprocal artillerying in the Ypres seetor. A French communique states: A German attack on the salient west of FroMmont faisi was repulsed after a short hut violent struggle. In the Champagne region, .at Honain and Teton, tin; bombardment is lively and sustained.
