ALIENS IN THE NORTH.
GOVERNMENT ACTION DEMANDED. Dargavillc, Sect. .15. An enthusiastic public meeting at Dargaville to-night was attended by 500 people. The following resolution was carried unanimously..-—''That in view of the rapidly-growing hostile feeling against the aliens in this district regarding the lack of services on their part to assist-the Government and tho Allies to win the war, this public meeting of the citizens of Dargaville and district calls upon the Government to take immediately such action as will effectually ensure equal sacrifice being imde by all aliens in some form of war work before calling upon the first class of the Second Division to go into camp."
