DISTRICT NEWS.

CARDIFF. (From Our Own Correspondent.) Mr. T. Watkins, who for several years has been first assistant at the local factory, has left Cardiff to take charge of the new Tuna cheese factory, lately installed by the Midhirst Dairy Company. Mr. Watkins is to be congratulated on his well-deserved promotion, and leaves Cardiff with the best wishes for his future success in his new sphere. His place will be filled by Mr. Charles Barker, who has had considerable experience with the work of the Cardiff factory, both prior to and since his return from the front.
