TAXATION BILL. Australian-N.Z. Cable Association. Sydney, Sept. 14. The Legislative Council .passed the new taxation Bill cabled yesterday. TERRITORY IN THE (PACIFIC. Received Sept. 14, 7.15 p.m. Melbourne, Sept. 14. Both houses finally repealed the Daylight Saving Act. In the House Mr. Hughes announced that the present federal -Ministry had made no representations to the Imnerial Government regarding territory in the Pacific being added to Commonwealtß territory. Representations on the subject were made by the previous Labor Ministry. No suggestions had been made to the Imperial Government regarding peace terms.
