The New Zealand Alliance passed a resolution this evening as follows: That the executive of the New Zealand Alliance expresses its indignation and deep disappointment that tlie Tiill introduced by the Government conies so far short of what had been asked for by the peti!ions of rr'.'H'O electors of the Dominion, by resolutions from representatives of nearly every class ill the community, raid supported l>v the deliberate judgment of the National Efficiency Board. It reaffirms the demand for ti p.m. as tho •very latest hour for closing liquor bars. ■lt calls upon all worthy oitiseus to express their dissatisfaction'and iiso every legitimate means to induco thtir representatives in Parliament to amend the Bill in lmrmonv with public opinion, and with the needs of the present grave national crisis.
