The New Zealand Land Company has declared a final dividend on preference stock of two per cent., and on ordinary shares five per cent., with, a" bonus of five per cent. ; HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE. The High Commissioner cablas his market report as follows: Meat.—There is dissatisfaction on account of the maximum prices of meat, with the result that small supplies of Home-killed beef at Smith'ield market are selling at liy ; .d to 13d. Homekilled mutton of almost all grades is selling at 13d, Now Zealand mutton per lb, B%d,' ewe mutton B%d, New Zealand lamb lOd. The -arrangement regarding Argentine mutton and lamb has terminated with the result that prices pre higher. Argentine mutton ll%d, Argentine lamb ll%d. New Zealand beef, no supplies are available with the exception of New Zealand boneless beef 10d; Argentine beef quotations are nominal, hinds 12y a d, fores 9%d. Butter and Qheese. —The maximum prices remain unchanged for both butter and cheese. The butter market continues firm and stocks are very light. Danish, Argentine. American, and New Zealand: No supplies available and no quotations. Irish creamery per cwt 2065, unsalted 2095. The cheese market continues firm. English eheddar, per cwt, 1325; New Zealand, United States "flats," and Canadian, at Government price, 130s Bd. Hemp.— I The New , Zealand market continues firm owing to a decrease in supplies of Government graded fair Manila together with tho fact that details of the Government control are not vet announced. Small sales have taken place during the present week. New Zealand high point fair afloat £92, common £SS; New Zealand fair, October shipment £S7.
