FARMERS' CO-OP. MARKET REPORT. Opunake yards, on Monday last, at our usual fortnightly sale: There was a good yarding of dairy cattle, and an average muster of stores and weaners. Competition was keen, and almost the wliolo yarding was disposed of at the hammer. We quote: Dairy heifers, close to profit, £lO to £l3; others £8 to £9 15»; fresh conditioned cows £8 10s to £lO 10s; forward cows and store £6 10s to £8 8s; empty heifers £5 10s to £6 7s Od; good weaner heifers £4 12s to £5 7s; others £3 to £3 18s; weaner steers £3 15s to £4 17s; and sundries sold at late rates. Manaia yards, on Tuesday, at our usual sale there was a good yarding ot stock of all descriptions, which sold, under keen demand, at the following prices: Fat cows £l*2 15s to £l4, fresh i £ll to £l2; forward cows £9 to £lO 10s; store cows £7 to £S 8s; small store cows £5 10s to £G 15s; yearling steers £4 to £5 '2s; yearling heifers £3 10s to £4 4s; bulls £0 to £lO.
