A SERIOUS CHARGE.
AGAINST A LAM) 'AGENT. By, Telegraph.-JPress Association Christchureh, last Night. At the Magistrate's Court, hte this afternoon,' Alfred Ernest Craddoelc, fit Christchureh, a well-known land and pommission agent, and now a bankrupt, was charged that on May. 1, 1915, he being a trustee of the will of Dennis Booker, formerly of Christchureh, farmer, who died in My, IM2, with latent to defraud, and in violation of his trust, converted £350, of which he 1 was a trustee, to his. own use, this not being' authorised by the said trust. Mr. Gresson appeared for accused, who pleaded guilty. Mr. Raymond, K.C., said Cradtlock had just keen arrested, and he asked for a remand, as further investigations were being conducted, and there were likely, to be other charges. Mr. G reason applied for bail. Mr. Raymond, while not opposing tha application, asked that the amount be fairly substantial. . ■ '
The Magistrate remanded the accused til! Monday nest, and-fixed bail ut accused in £SOO and tv.-o sureties of £3Ol each.
