EVERYBODY'S.

LAST NIGHT OF '<ON DANGEROUS GROUND." Gail Kane and Carlyle Blackwell scored a big triumph in the great World film drama, "On Dangerous Ground," at Everybody's on Saturday. This is a picturLsation of "Little Comrade," a novel of the war which has made a sensation, and has been a "best seller," running to many editions. The story concerns a youn<; girl of Alsace, who, although under German Government, still loves her beloved France. She steals a campaign plan, and escapes to the frontier. Then adventure befalls her thick and fast. The story i 9 illuminating aa to secret service methods, and there is not the usual vein of improbability in connection with this part of the story which sppils many a film drama. This i 9 due to the fact, probably, that the play is really a dramatised novel. The photography is little short of marvellous, the scenes in Alsace showing the brutal German soldiery forcing the men of French birth into the ranks, and the scenes in Berlin showing the gladness with which the German people hailed the outbreak of war, being triumphs of the camera art. To-night will he the final 1 screening of this fine film and no picture patron should miss it. TO-MORROW-A BIG DOUBLE PROGRAMME. Two absolutely opposite styles of film feature will bo included on the new programme to-morrow. Naomi Childer* stars in a remarkable sex problem film, '■The Auction of Virtue," and there is a Blue Bird feature, "Mr. Doolan of New York," which shows the thrilling adventures of an American pugilist abroad.
