'A Frweh Eastern communique, dated Uaptember 6, states: An artillery •troggle of «. somewhat violent nature ttok place in the region of the Vardar, wptcially on the left bank, where the British artillery continued a destructive fee. The enemy twice attacked the gnaiim positions between Lakes Prespa mi Ochrida. The first completely failed, tit tie second enabled an entry into tome elements of advanced trenches.
