MEETINGS of Farmers and all interested will be held at the times and places undermentioned to consider and discuss the serious position that now exists in regard to the shortage of shipping for frozen meat and other produce, and to endeavor to arrange for providing means whereby additional storage may be erected. In the matter of The Counties Act, 190S, and of The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913; and any amendment of the said Acts and each of them respectively: !J"HE Egmont County Council hereby gives Public Notice that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of £15,000 for the purpose of re-erecting in reinforced concrete the whole of the bridges and culverts (as the case may require) as enumerated in the schedule hereunder, the said loan together with interest thereon at a rate not exceeding five and one quarter per centum per annum ifi to be repayable in 36 1 /;. years by half-yearly instalments in the manner provided by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913. It is further proposed to pay out of the said loan the cost of raising the loan, together with the first year's interest thereon, and any preliminary expenses incurred in connection with the purpose for which the said loan is raised.
