TROUBLE OVER AN ADVERTISE. .MENT, By Telegraph.—Pre93 Association. Wellington, Last Night. At tlio Magistrate's Court to-dar, Duncan Novin, representative of J. C. Williamson, Ltd., was charged with haying caused to he inserted in the Evening Post on lttth July, 1917,.an advertisemcat of the cinematograph picture "Intolerance," whereby that'newspaper »•- came an indecent document. Defendant said adrertisements were inserted to r*. fute the remarks of Ounedjin clergymen, which he thought unfair aad uujustifieij also as a challenge to the public to judge the matter for themselves. De» cißion was reserved. . THE SEAMEN'S DISPUTE. Wellington, Last Night.
