UNRESERVED DISPERSAL SALE OF REGISTERED FRIESIAN CATTLE. An advertisement appears in this issue -bowing brief particulars of dispersal sale of Eriesian cattle to he held on Wednesday, the sth September, on account of Mr. A. .1. Gallichan, at his homestead, Tiakitahuna, close to Palm-er-;ton North. The offering of 45 head comprises the whole of the well and favorably known Lakeside herd, in the •building up of which the vendor has spent a fund of time, energy and capital. The original females 'as imported 'from America together with all their ■female descendants, not one of which ■has ever been sold, will be submitted, and the bulls will inelude the handsome sons of Holland Queen' (record, 20,G2D1b milk and 755M> butter-fat) 'while amongst the females is the imported cow whose sire is brother to the 501b butter Vow and her two daughters. A perusal of the. catalogue shows high records of individuals and also mentions performances on both sires, grand-sires, dams •and grand-dams' sides, and the dispersal of the Lakeside herd affords a. unique opportunity for breeders and intending breeders of the well-known "black and whites" to secure high quality revenueproducing animals at their own prices, ias Mr. Gallichan has instructed the auctioneers, Messrs Dalgcty and Co., Ltd., Queen street. Palmerston North, to sell every lot to the highest bidder. 'Arrangements for inspection prior to' sale may be made with the auctioneers, and drags will leave the office at 10 a.m. on morning of sale.
