CLEARING OUT THE ENEMY. FROM NORTHERN AREA; Received Sept. 2, 5.5 p.m. London, S(fpt. 1. 'East Africa official: The British and the Belgians in tho northern area have cleared the country between the Ruaha and XJlanga rivers, and have driven the Germans southward of the latter. The enemy broko out of Megepos, making for Mahenge, and wo are pursuing them. We have occupied Tundmu.
