TELEGRAPHIC. Onehunga, Sept 2.—The Rimu, from New Plymouth, passed Manukau Heads at 1.15 to-day, arriving at Onehunga at 4 p.a» THE HUIA. The Huia left Wanganui for New Plymouth at 11.30 a.m. on Saturday, and was expected here yesterday morning, but a telegram was received yesterday stating that she had to put back, and was sheltering. THE ARA'PAWA. The Arapawa from Onehunga for Waitara was unable to get into the latter port owing to the heavy sea on the bar, and came on to New Plymouth, anchoring inside the breakwater about 5.45 on Saturday evening. She may get away to-day. The steamer Baden Powell is leaving Auckland to-day for New iP'lymouth and Wanganui.
