"A PERFECT FARCE." Napier, August 29. In the Supreme Court the jury failed' to agree in the case wherein Whaingawa Wirihana was charged with the manslaughter of a newslwy at Hastings. Accused's motor car collided with the boy's bicycle, a'nd the collision caused the hitter's death. This was the third trial. The jury failed agaip to agree, and a new trial was applied for. Sir Robert Stout said the reauiremcnt of unanimity in tho jury in these cases was a perfect iarce. ! ===-==s
