Received Aug. 30, 0.30 p.m. ■London, Aug. 20. The Italian report on the submarine Josses for the week ending August 26 is as follows, the figures for the previous week being in parentheses:—Arrivals, SSS (4«4)), sailings 587 (437), vessels sunk 3 (5), unsuccessfully attacked 1 (2), damaged 0 (3}. NAVY'S SUCCESSFUL WORK. Received Aug. 30, 5.-5 p.m. London, Aug. 29. The Pall Mall Gazette says that the navy is dealing 'with submarines in an increasingly successful way. NORWEGIAN 'VESSEL SUNK. London, August 29. The Norwegian vessel Kongsli, 9300 ■tons, valued at ;C460,0(X) 'was sunk on the Spanish coast. She was bound for Europe from America. Tin 1 kongs'ii wan previously torpedoed in the Channel and' repaired.
