When a final settlement can be arrived at, the directors propose to make a further payment over the cheese period. Taking into consideration the small amount of share capital now being subscribed, owing to most of the shares taken up being fully paid, and with a view to reducing the liability to the Bank the directors recommend that a sum equal to y 4 d per lb of butter-fat supplied during the past year be charged against the surplus account and placed to a sinking fund.
