The Minister for Internal Affairs stated to-day that, in accordance with requests received, Cabinet had determined that Sunday, October 7 should be set apart as a day for national praver in eouaection with the war, tho various churches oeing asked to make arrangements for the proper observance of the day. Mayors of all cities and boroughs are to arrange, if for united services in the afternoon. MOVEMENTS OF REINFORCEMENTS. Wellington, Last Night. The last draft of the 33rd Infantry Reinforcements left Trentham for Tauherenikau by special train to-day. Next Tuesday (ha 30th' Reinforcements w'i'l move from Featherston to Trentham where tney will cott; lete their period of training.
