In the first placs it reaches more people. My mission in life is a serious one. I intend to 'work out every year a scenario that will have as its purpose an uplift to humanity. I am going to throw the screen into the fight, believing that only by knowledge can headway be made. Point out the consequences of evil and you have the most effective deterrent. How often do you hear a social reformer say, 11 I could only make them see it.' I am going to make them see it by putting everything before their eyes." Daring as is the theme, it is stated that never for one moment is it gross. It is claimed to be a serious contribution to the great cause of humanity. The success of "Where Are My Children?" has been electric. Box offices and pay-boxes alike have been besieged uninterruptedly by crowds fighting for admission in every city where the film lias been exhibited. Tho seasons at Auckland, Wellington, Christchurch,, and Dunedin had to be extended to overtake the rush. The box .plan ia at Collier's.
