Tho Central and Courtenay street infant school children have sent in a donation to the mayoress amounting to £3 !),s. for Christmas cake for cvfc soldiers at the front. Tho cake will bo packed at the depot in soldered benzine can-', and forwarded with 150 cards, written by the children, and stamped with the school stamp. Mrs. Burgess wishes to thank those friends who have contributed toward the contents of Mrs. Waiigh's counter box. to the amount, of 13s lid, which is used for posting papers to our soldiers.
