Yesterday's mail from the front brought along a host of cheery letters from good "sports" who are arguing the point with Fritz. Sapper Bob McManus, who was well known in the local railway staff, reports that he is still going strong. Private fteorge ("Sandy") Chapman. well known in Inglewood, states that his arm (hurt in an accident at Inglewood) has gone "crook" on him, and he is afraid it will put him out of action. Private. George Waterton, a brother-in-law of "Moturoa's." writes expressing the opinion that "Ormond's elect will win the Great Northern Hurdles," which prediction turned out correct. Private Eric Julian (Inglewood) also sends kind regards to all "sports."
