WEDDING.

NORTHS—MALONE. A quiet and pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Joseph's Church yesterday (Uternoon, by Very Key. Dean McKenna, when Miss Bridget -Mary Malone (Omata), eldest daughter of air. J. Malone, was united in holy matrimony to Mr. John {Corns, a well-known and respected settler of Tututawa. She carried a beautiful bouquet of white (lowers and maidenhair fern. The bridesmaids wero Misses Annie and Mary Rior<hn (nieces), who were dressed in white Japanese silk, with pink and ■blue sashes ind lace caps. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr. Michael Norria. His present to the bride was a beautiful gold and pearl brooch, and to the tittle maids gold brooches. The bride's present to the bridegroom was a handsome set of gold studs and links. At tho conclusion of tho ceremony the wedding party and a few intimate friends adjourned to the Grand Central Hotel, where a most sumptuous and dainty repast was set out in the breakfast room, Ivhich had been most tastefully decorated with beautiful spring (lowers for the occasion by Mrs. T. R. Hughes. The customary sentiments were expressed and honored, and a very happy time Mas spent. Mr and Mrs. Xorris left per Rarawa for Auckland last night for a brief honeymoon prior to taking up their residence at Tututawa.
