£ "START MM®. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington. Last Night. Tlte tenth ballot to complete the 34th and 35th 'Reinforcement drafts began today. About 15,000 names will fee drawn, leaving abuot SOOO from which to secure the 36th draft. : For the 34th draft the quota was 23ft8, and 784 voluntary recruits have been passed as fit, leaving -a national shortage of 1524. For the 35th draft the quota was 2350, and 143 volunteers have t- en passed, as fit, leaving a shortage of 2207.
