That is why the Government of Xow Zealand is issuing another war loan locally, to which it should be a duty and a privilege to subscribe. This loan has been so arranged that all classes can contribute thereto according to their ability, from £1 to a million or nioro. Tho terms of the loan are advertised and it should be remembered that subscriptions thereto are not gifts but investments bearing interest. The war cannot be won without money, so that' there should be no hesitation in recognising that the prime necessity of the day is the war loan, and this recognition entails the obligation of all members of the community to do all in their power so that its. success will bs assured. Those who subscribe at once arc doing the greater service. The money I*3 urgently needed and should be provided without delay.
