THE MART.

The ladies of the Red Cross Society liad charge of the Mart on Saturday, anil did capital business, their takings amounting to £43 ss, which may be deemed highly satisfactory, considering the many heavy demands recently made on the\generosity of the public. The Mayoress a_sks every school boy and girl in New Plymouth to bring one egg each to the depot by Friday next. Arrangements will be made to have the eggs b -ought in from country schools. , All friends who have a few eggs to spare call help to stock this stall.
