HOLLAND HALL FAIR. The following are the results of tincompetitions at the Holland ib.l! produce sale and fair in aid of Me-.<lamcs Hugh ISaily and D. K. Morrison's fund for Christmas gifts to Tar.ruaki soldiers at the front: Cake, donated by Mrs. CrnicUiank. won by Mr. T. K. Skinner. Sandalwood box, donated by Mr. S. Teed, won by Miss Kileen Whit'ombe. Turkey, sent in from Waitoitoi, won by Airs. T. (!. Hirst. Cushion, donated by Mr. .Tils Paul won by Mrs. J. Morey. The winning iiiolto is ''See everything, hear eicrything, and Keep your "mouth shut.'' The prize (donated" by Mr. T. Avery) can be obtained from Mi»s Wade, Powderham street, cu prcsenatt-ion of the motto. The proceeds of the sale amounted fo £55 18s (id, exclusive of donations. Donations in cash wore received from Mesdames Matthews, Hart and W. C. AVeslon, Messrs IS. A. Collinge and S. Hooper, £1 each; Mesdames Robinson 10s, Collis, Firth, Paton, E. Grifliths, Martin and Garner and Messrs Collis, Cordon and H. Corbett (YVarca) ys each; Mrs. Grover 2/li; Miss Nancy Forbes and Master Jan Forbes Is each.
The ladies responsible wish to thank all those who assisted them during the afternoon and the following donors of produce and saleable articles:—Messrs. Willison, Spurr Bros., C.
