The herd is headed by the old hull, "Baron Cornwall." who wai bred by the New Zealand Government at the Weraroa Experimental Farm.. This fine bull, although at the present 10 years old, is still in great heart and is as fit ns ever he-was. He shquld meat with good competition when offered fof sale. The registered Shorthorn cova are a fine lot and in good condition. 'Buyer* in this instance will have an added'.value as theso cows are in calf to the old bull and arc mostly due between the middle and end of August, and as a calf by the good old bull will be eligible fojr the Herd Book these cows should be AraJ*> able. The registered heifer* are at showing well in calf and are mostly due about the end. of August, so that buyers' will have sufficient time to get' theal home before they come to profit. The two-year old perigree heifers arc a nio* lot and are mostly empty, Mr. Cowling having always preferred the Shorthorn heifer as a three-year-old for her fir»» calf.
