'Present indications are for soutU-casi,-orly to easterly winds generally, strbng to-gale northwards of Farewell Spit and Kiiikoura, freshening from elsewhere. Further boisterous weather and heavy rain may be expected in the northern and cast coast districts of the North Island and may extend to Cook Strait ana north-east districts of the South Island, with increasing cloudiness generally. The barometer has a falling tendency.
