CHAIRMAN'S ADDRESS. The chairman, in moving the adoption of the report and balance-sheet, complimented suppliers Oil the position of the company, and stated that this was entirely due to the care and attenlion given by the directors to the selling of the comjf.uy's butter. No opportunity of effecting a sale had been missed, which left them in the position of having realised practically their entire output. He explained that during the sca=on the water supply at the main factory had again failed,' causing unusual expense in temporary power, but the directors had taken the opportunity to instal an entirely new water wheel and fluming. Additional plant had been installed wherever necessary. The directors lwd within the previous few days gone exhaustively into the question of the water power, and thought that at a moderate expenditure it could be made ample for all requirements. He warned suppliers that the prospects for the coming season weTe, as they all knew, not too good, and that, while'the directors had in the past been able to arrange to keep i»e pay-outs to a high figure, it was quite probable that they might have to email the payment in the forthcoming season. After numerous questions had Veil asked and answered, the motion was carried. DIRECTORS.
The retiring directors, Messrs Jesse Jury and fi. Sponce, were rc-olpc-led unopposed. There were seven other nominations, but all the nominees decline*! to stand. Mr. T. Mills was re-clcctcd auditor. On the motion of Messrs C. Mace anil G. Bell the chairman was voted an additional honorarium of £lO. ELECTION OF CHAIRMAN. At the subsequent meeting of directors Mr. \V. J.
