How "Busaa" wins the love of "the catch of the season" is very charmingly told; but at the very foot of the altar and dressed in all her bridal array, she distractedly confesses thaf she l» no countess, but only a working girl, and rushes madly down the thronged aisle and out of the church. Her lover follows her, but she falls in a swoon, and her wealthy patron, who wished to secure "the catch of the gpuson" for her own daughter, sends "Susan," now afflicted with brain fever, oS to a common hospital, and he Ipses all trace of her.
