WEDDING.

r K quiet but pretty redding was solemnised in St. Barnabas' Church, Opun&ke, on. Monday. July ft, the Rev. 0. Howard, of Stratford, being the officiating minister. The contracting parties were Mr. Stanley Webb, of Pihama, and Mrs. Perry, of Lyall Bay, Wellington. Sirs. Feaver kindly presided at the organ. The brido was given away by Mr. Frank Julian. "A Voice that breathed o'er Eden" i\vas sung as the bride entered tho church. She looked charming in ft bcet-eolored costume, with dainty ninon blouse and hat to match, and carried a shower bouquet of smylax and choice flowers, with red, white ond blue streamers. She was attended by Miss Dorothy Jeffries, who wore a cream gaberdine costume with lace vest, black hat trimmed .with pink roses, and carried a basket of beautiful asparagus fern, wattle and daphne draped with red, white and blue. The bridegroom was attended -by Mr. Leslie Cork'll. After tho ceremony the guests were entertained to afternoon tea at the residence of Mr. F. Julian, when the usual toasts were proposed and responded to. Numerous presents were received, testifying to the esteem in which they are held in I'ihama ond surrounding districts. After tho bridal party had been photographed the bride and bridegroom left for their future home in Pihama, carrying .with them the best wishes of all present.
