HUNTING.
On Thursday next the North Taranaki Hunt will meet at the Waiongona creamery, permission having been kindly granted by Messrs Hine, Macdonald liros and adjacent farmers to hunt over their properties. Sport should be of the best, hares being plentiful, hounds in tip-lop condition, and fences of the best. The hunting season of 1017 is now drawing /o a close, there being only two more hunts carded. F.gmont Village is set 'down for Thursday, August !), and the Master's. Mr. A. H. llalconibe, for Aug. 10, this i-hould be quite late enough, as early lambs are in evidence throughout ,the district, to say nothing of the inevitable calf.
