ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
TWO MINERS KILLED. By Telegraph.—Press Association, Greymoutli, July 31. The bodies of .lolin Tiplcr, aged 41. deputy, and Thomas Lindsay Abbott, aged 27, shiftman, were found in the Blackball coal mine la u t evening. The mine was idle yesterday in connection with the funeral of William Graliatn, who was killed by a fall of coal in the same mine on Saturday last. Tiplcr and Abbott were the only men in the mine yesterday, and they were there for the purpose of inspection. It: is understood that, the bodies were found in water. It has also been discovered that a dam in the mine has broken. The exact cause, of the men's death cannot be ascertained at present, lloth victims were married, Tipler's widow residing in Victoria.
