NEW PLYMOUTH CLUB. On Thursday and Saturday last bogey matches were played at the Waiwakaiho links but owing to the bad weather the scores were poor. On'' Thursday only one card was put in, V\ r . 11. Woods, four down. Saturday's play resulted :~>F. S. Johns, seven down; R. T. McQuade, seven down : S. J. Smith, 10 down; T. Anderson, 11 down. Next Thursday the monthly St. Andrew's Cross match will be played and on Saturday a four-ball bogey match.

The following week the first round of the championship will be played. Membcx are requested to give in their names and pay the entrance fees to the secretary by Wednesday, August 8.
