SECOND DIVISION LEAGUE.

A Conference of the Second Division League recommended that the Leagues accept the following as officers for the first year:—.President, R. A. Armstrong (Wellington): vice-presidents—South Island, W. R. Brugh (Otago); North Island, A. A. Creamer (Auckland) ; hon. treasurer, C. 11. Chapman (Wellington). It was resolved that- the Wellington F.xecutivo be empowered to make the appointment of a secretary on a monthly basis. Mr. J. M'Leod, of New Plymouth, has been appointed to the Advisory Committee. The Wangamii League, in its endeavor to enrol every Second Division reservist, has tables placed in the principal streets on Saturday, with energetic members in charge. The campaign produced a good number of members. A big meeting will be held at Opunake on Wednesday evening week, when visitors from New Plymouth and Eltham will speak on the objects and work of the League.
