ANNUAL REPORT. The annual report for the year 'c-ndijd March 31, to toe submitted to the annual meeting of shareholders at His Majesty's Theatre on Monday uext, is as follows: The directors have pleasure in presenting to shareholders a satisfactory statement of the year's operations. The working account shows a balance of £28,195 lis. A further payment of 3d per lb butter-fat for the-year was paid on July 20, absorbing £17,50!) Ss (Id, leavisg a balance of £10,686 2s 3d, sufficient to pay a further l%d per lb butter-fat, and leave a surplus of £472 5s fid to be carried forward. This will bring the average paid for butter-fat for the year to Is 7Jd per lb.

Butter afloat and in store at the end of the year was taken into stock at a reasonable price, and probably some surpluses will arise from this an<L other sources.

The repairs and renewals account has increased ocnsideraMy, due chiefly to the cost of a new boiler and rebuilding freezing chamber at the factory.

In accordance witli the resolution passod at last annual meeting, the directors donated one box of butter per month to the Now Plymouth Women's Tatriotic Committee for use of New Zealand Military Hospitals abroad. The retiring directors are Messrs. W. Colson, Henry Watson, and J. G. Faktcr, who are eligible for re-election. Mr. Colson, who has disposed of his farm at Toki>, does not seek re-election. There will be an election of a director to (111 the vacancy caused by the resignation of Mr. H. Bowling.
