A wireless Russian official report states:: There is lively artillerying in the direction of Vilna. The enemy persistently attacked twenty miles south of Brody. At first all attacks were repulsed, but one regiment, between Batyov and Manajov, left the trenches voluntarily and retired, with the result that the neighboring units were forced to retire, also giving the enemy an opportunity to develop his success. Our failure was largely due to the influence of the extremists. On several detachments being ordered to support their comrades, they held meetings and discussed the advisability of obeying the order, and some refused to obey. The efforts of the commanders and the committees were fruitless. The AustroGermans occupied a portion of our first line eastward of Brzeaany, also at (Bindniki, westward of Halite The enemy tnado an offensive on the 17th inst. and captured a height southward of Novica, hut pur cavalry and infantry drove back the enemy and restored the position. A wireless German official report states: Between the Sereth and Strypa we are closely, pursuing the retreating enemy.

A iwireless Russian official report states: The enemy artillerying is intense south-westward of Dvinsk, The enemy made a further offensive in the direction of Tarnopol. Our troops are lacking stability elsewhere, not obeying commands. They continued to retire in the evening on the line Reniov-Sladki-Pokropuvna-Syibudov. We repulsed several attacks in the region of Novica. The enemy occupied the heights north-east of th« village. The enemy attacked at the confluence of the Rimnsk and Sereth. A Boumanian counter-attack restored •the situation. A wireless German official report states: Our troops are before Tarnopol. A wireless Austrian official report states: The Austro-Germans have passed beyond Auguatowka, Czierna, and Nesterovco.
TROUBLE AT WARSAW.
GERMANS 'FERE INTO CROWD. POLES REPOSE OATH OF ALLEGIANCE. Received July 22, 6.6 p.m. Zurich, July 20. Street demonstrations at Warsaw, protesting against German arbitrariness, resulted in the military ifiring on the crowd. The coal-miners at Domtirawa have struck, owing to insufficiency of food and ctothing. A number of Polish Legionaries have been interned for (having refused to take the oath of allegiance to the future King of Poland and the German-Austrian allies. CABINET CHANGES. | KERENSKY BECOMES PREMIER.
Received July 22, 11.50 p.m. iPetrograd, July 21. Prince Lvoff has resigned, and M. Kerenßky has become Premier. He temporarily retainß the portfolios of War and Marine. M. Theretelli has been appointed Minister of the Interior, retaining the Ministry of Post and Telegraphs. M. Nekrosoff has been provisionally appointed Minister of Justice. The Minister of Railways has also resigned.
