The Bishop of London, addressing the Wesieyan Conference, said his great ani;bition had been to encourage unity ol ,the clrarches. The partition dividing the Anglicans and Methodists was very thin and should not exist. There had been mistakes on both sides, but the time had come to bury the hatchet.
