TOWN CLERK'S SUICIDE. By Telegraph.—Pr°cs Association. Timaru, July IC. Edward Cutten, for 17 years town clerk of Temuka, aged 55, was xonnd dead in his home with a gas jet turned on. He had recently been in ill-health. His wife was absent at Hanmer. KILLED AT A CROSSING. Clisborne, July 10. The body of an elderly man, named William Collins, was found alongside the railway at Ormond on Sunday morning. It is sujuposed he was struck by an engine at the crossing.
