Mr. Wilton, correspondent at the Russian south-western headquarters, says the self-sacrificing examples of the commanding officers and subalterns is greatly inspiring itho men. The army committees heroically march at the head of the attacking waves. Tie Germans are much alarmed, and are rushing reinforcements from France. Many of the Austrian positions are exceedingly strong. The Austriana suffered little, but surrendered wholesale, -with Blight resistance. HNLAND IN BAD STATE. Copenhagen, July 15. The situation in Finland is worse. The police have resumed duty, bat other strikes are threatened, including the railwaymen. Food supplies from Russia arc stopped and foreigner are forbidden to enter Finland. A PANIC IN GALKM. The Daily Telegraph correspondent at Rome says that Austrian reports state that the population of trftficia is paiiie-stvieken and thousands of families are fleeing into the interior. Vienna and Budapest are crowded with refugees. Divisions of Cossacks are ravaging the country. The towns of Molina and Stryj are deserted. POLITICAL SITUATION IMPROVED.
Petrograd, July 15. The progress of the offensive is favorably influencing the political situation. The leaders and bulk of the Socialists are disappointed at the German Socialists not supporting their peace terms and now advocate ft continuation of the offensive.
