The Nightingale Dance promoted by the young ladies v;as held on Wednesday night. They arc to be congratulated on the success of their efforts. The sur»ner room was devoted to cards and the hall was tastefully decorated. The music was supplied by Mr. K. Cannell. and Misses E. I.ooncy and G. Wallis were M.C's. The prizes for euchre went to Mrs. J. Sinclair (ladies) and Mrs. .H. Dcs Forges (gents), Mrs. Cannell and Mrs. Betridge being awarded consolation prizes. The judges of the waltzing competition (Mesdames King and J. Youne and Messrs W. J. S. Dudley and J. Hickcy) awarded the prizes to Miss E. King and Mr. J. Kirkwood After a dainty supper Mr. G. Loonev presented the winners with their prizes and thanked -those present for their patronage.
