CHILDREN'S MATINEE TO-DAY. The children's usual picture matinee will be held at the Empire this afternoon when a specially selected programme will be screened. The principle attraction will naturally be the film of the local schools, as the kiddies will be keen on seeing themselves on the screen. The owier portion of the programme is just the' right class to interest and amuse the young folk. Charlie Chaplin will i>ppe.#iin a screaming comedy, "The Masqucrader." Then the old favorite pantomime mill be introduced in "Humpty Dumpty's Circus," and the young mindVwill delight in the "Adventures of ATicc in Wonderland." There are many other pictures equally as good as those" mentioned, the whc> selection making a wonderfully good matinee entertainment.
