FARM ROOTS AND VEGETABLES.

There were some splendid exhibits of vegetables at the recent National Dairy Show held at '.Palmerston Uprth. The carrots, parsnips, onions and celery were' especially fine, and in fact the quality of the vegetables was much above the average. There field carrots were probably the finest ever shown in New Zealand, many of the roots being more like mangejs than carrots. These were mostly grown from Cooper's Reeds There were roots of Cooper's "Matchless White" shown, weighing twelve pounds, very firm in texture and fine in quality. Mr. T. Webb, who was one of the leading prizetakers,' wrote us, saying: "I had the greatest success with the produce of Cooper's Seeds at the Winter Show, where I se.. cured twenty-nine prizes. I cannot speak too highly in praise of Cooper* Seeds; they certainly prove to be the Seeds of Success with me." Mr. _A. Passey, Pohanßina. one of the leading prizetakers in the farm root section, also speaks in terms of the highest praise of Cooper's Seeds. Most of the principal prizetakers in New Zealand use Cooper's Seeds, because they are the most critical buvers, and insist upon having quality. It is well to remember this when buying your seeds. The reasons are to be found on every bag and packet. Cooper's Seeds are obtainable from the principal merchants and seedsmen in all parts of New Zealand, but it is necessary to bo sure that you really do obtain Cooper's Seeds—the "Seeds of .Success:" G9
